Yoga Class
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 12noon-1pm
Join us for yoga at lunchtime! We will spend this asana class immersed in the traditions of Hatha Yoga. We will explore awakening with the mindfulness of breath, a flow of sun salutatios and held posture as a way of inspiring movement of energy. This infused with meditation, will encourage a day begun without stress. Linda Moore, Certified Yoga Instructor, will be leadind the classes and they are open to all levels of experience. Childcare is available with prior arrangement (call 206.587.0320 to arrange childcare). Bring a mat, if you have one. $5 suggested donation (20% of the proceeds go to CPC)

EcoCascade
This past year has been filled with changes at the Cascade People’s Center and EcoCascade. Many of the most exciting changes with the ongoing Eco-Renovation of our building have included the installation of a new entrance and windows on the south side of the Center. Our newly redesigned Garden of Happiness and gazebo now greet Center visitors, and has brought the feeling of this garden inside the Center’s space. The Center also fulfilled a long held dream of using rainwater in the Center’s bathroom, to encourage ecological sustainability.
